Concerts feature artists such as the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble; pianist Sergei Babayan; tenor Ian Bostridge; cellist Gautier Capuçon; Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center; Dover Quartet; Emerson String Quartet; Hagen Quartet; pianist Stephen Hough; cellist Steven Isserlis; violist Richard O’Neill; soprano Lisette Oropesa; Takács Quartet; and violinist Christian Tetzlaff.

Producing and artistic direction for the region’s flagship children’s theatre operating with AEA and USA contracts. Selected seasons, developed budgets, implemented marketing strategies, hired artists and staff. Seasons consist of two fully staged Broadway musicals, 2 straight plays and 2 2-week long intensive Shakespeare Workshops operating in three cities simultaneously. SYT provided performance opportunities, workshops, and classes for over 600 young people annually. Over 60 public performances and student matinees produced annually. Working closely with the Artistic Director on planning and implementation of the theatre’s national new play development program The Global Age Project. Networking with nationally prominent playwrights, agents, theatres and playwright development institutions to promote and provide services such as directing, script selection, scheduling, coordination of artistic personnel and grant writing.

Producing and artistic direction for the region’s leading resident professional theater company. Annual selection of a seven-show season; a 14% increase in subscription and single ticket sales during the first season; establishment of a contract relationship with Actors’ Equity Association; leadership and fundraising of a successful $300,000 Theatre Building Fund Capital Campaign and streamlining financial reporting procedures. Contracting actors, guest directors and designers from major regional theatre markets including the Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco communities.

Producing and managing operations for one of Chicago’s leading new play development companies. Stabilized financial operations, initiated a production season beyond in-house development programming; negotiated CAT contracts with Actors’ Equity Association. Worked closely with the artistic director to advance artistic planning, play selection, hiring and directing.

Directing and casting for in-house and/or public readings with the objective to develop full-length scripts for production with commissioned playwrights.

Provided artistic leadership and business management for Dallas-area support and performing arts organization serving over 1,500 artist members. Society for Theatrical Artists, Guidance and Enhancement (STAGE), was one of the Southwest’s leading service organizations with a producing arm that specialized in new play development and an actors’ showcase series.
