“Stanton, who has served as Producing Director at Chicago Dramatists, has been one of the most creative directorial presences on the off-Loop scene for several years. It was Stanton’s astounding production of Rebecca Gilman’s “The Glory of Living” that first brought attention to that playwright, and Stanton was also given a slew of awards for her other work, including notable productions of “The Angels of Lemnos” and “The Waiting Room.”

Chicago audiences have been enriched by her gutsy and intense productions that have usually tried to draw attention to life’s victims.”
